A plain-language account of what we collect and why. The binding version lives in the terms.
An email and a name when you create an account. The answers you give during onboarding: presentation, climate, occasions, and any height or weight you choose to add. A photo, if you choose to provide one. The looks you save, skip, or build, so the stylist can improve. And basic usage events, so we can see what is working.
A face photo and a full-length photo are both used to render looks: the full-length photo sets the body, and the face photo keeps you recognisable. The face photo also informs colour and grooming. They are kept so the stylist can keep answering, and you can delete either one at any time from settings. We do not use your photo to train models, and that is a contractual term with our providers, not only a policy.
Some jurisdictions treat face geometry as biometric or special-category data. We ask for explicit consent before any such processing, keep it to the minimum needed to render looks and inform colour, and honor deletion requests.
We use models to write the sentences around a recommendation, and to generate a preview of you in a look. The choice of garments comes from a curated catalog and a set of style rules, not from a model inventing products. It does not rate your face or your body, does not diagnose skin or health conditions, and does not train on your photos.
A preview is generated from your full-length photo, your face photo, and the real pieces in the look. Marketing imagery on this site is illustrative and generated.
We use OpenPanel to record product events, such as pages viewed, looks generated and previews made, so we can improve the product. It receives an account identifier and your email so we can tie events to an account; it does not receive your photos or the contents of your looks.
We run ads on TikTok. When you arrive from one, TikTok's pixel records that a visit happened, the page you landed on, a cookie id, and which of a few things happened, such as a preview generated, a look generated, a look or a piece saved, or a subscription started, together with an opaque id for that look or piece and the amount paid when one was. That is how we tell which ad worked, and how TikTok finds more people like you. It does not receive your photos, your pieces, the contents of your looks, or your account details, and we never send it an identifier for you as a person. A preview finishing, your setup being done and a subscription starting are reported from our server rather than your browser, which is why they still register if you close the tab. In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland the pixel does not run until you accept; the reports our server sends about your own account are not gated that way: creating an account counts as accepting them, and declining stops them. See the cookies page for what it stores and how to change your mind.
Subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by Bachs, our payments provider. Your card details are entered on Bachs and never reach our servers; we store only your plan, its status, and your credit balance. Bachs is the processor for payment data.
We use a small set of processors to run the product: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and transactional email), OpenPanel (product analytics), Bachs (payments), and TikTok (advertising measurement). We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your photo to advertisers.
Comport is for people 18 and over.
