Dress code
Casual means no code at all: clean, well-fitting everyday clothes that look like you thought about them.
Casual means no code at all: clean, well-fitting everyday clothes that look like you thought about them.
Casual is the loosest code and the one people get wrong, because relaxed is not the same as careless. It covers weekends, coffee, casual dinners, travel and most social plans.
There is no uniform, just good basics: well-fitting jeans or trousers, a clean tee or knit, a jacket for layers, and shoes that suit the plan. Fit and freshness matter more than anything else.
Keep it clean and intentional. Pick a couple of colours that work together, make sure nothing is worn out, and let one piece carry the look. That is what separates casual from scruffy.
The lever · Upgrade one item, usually the shoes, and the whole casual outfit reads intentional.
